Silver-Studded Blue

in actifit •  last month  (edited)

Hey Steemians,

After yesterday's cloudy weather, we got awesome weather today. We had a lot of sunshine and the temperatures were very pleasant. If the forecast is right, the weather will stay that most time of next week.

On my today's walk, I discovered this female and male Silver-Studded Blue Butterfly sitting on seedy grass.

Very beautiful pictures! :-) I thought the darkest butterfly would be the male but by looking at the comments it turns out to be the opposite. their colors are hypnotic!

Thank you very much @barber78 :-)
Yes, the blue one with open wings is the male and the brownish one with closed wings is the female.

nice shot :)

Thank you very much @yeaho

Thank you so much @amico :-)

Thank you very much @hashzone91
From today's point of view, everything old and past is fascinating, but I would still not want to live in this time.

Gorgeous

Thank you very much @sugarbon85 :-)

You have 2 butterflies there, and the blue one it looks so adorable with the wings open.

Yes, the blue one with open wings is the male and the other one sitting on top with closed wings is the female. The female has a brown color on their wings.

Uwow interesting.. how can the male has more colorful wings?

Nature often gives the males the more beautiful colors. This has the purpose to impress the females at the mating season.
