Why is it Important to Wish Your Enemies Well and Move on from their Malevolence?

in mindset •  15 days ago

Hi, Steemians!

Even the very best of us sometimes come across people who they shouldn’t trust, but in doing so pay the consequence of betrayal.

It is an undeniable truth that there are a lot of bad people out there waiting to take advantage of you at every given opportunity.

When we trust easily and get betrayed later on, we have not shown weakness.

The weakness belongs to those who would do everything to meet their ends, regardless of the ethical consequences involved.

How do we deal with people like that?

This needs not saying, but when you declare someone as your enemy, even inside your own brain, you start building resentment.

Resentment that has no sense of manifestation in the outside world becomes a mental pressure point in the future.

All the built-up anger and hatred will devour your soul, all the while your enemy is not even thinking about you anymore after their betrayal.

That being said, we see a lot of people who are forgiving towards those who do them harm and make them suffer.

Why is that?

image1.png

Everyday, you see a lot of people forgive their enmities and bound together in unity.

The reason behind that is those people are so good that they cannot even hate their enemies.

Their sense of empathy makes them realize that their enemies are not that well off, despite what appearances may suggest.

Doing terrible things to others will eventually have its toll on one’s soul.

People who take advantage of others or make them suffer without justification live in a hell of their own making, and that is why most people pity them.

This pity will give you the opportunity to forgive and move on. It is only then when you finally reclaim your broken heart after being wronged.

Do not let the malevolence of other people dictate how you see the world. Realize that these people are not strong, and nor are they happy.

These people are pitiable, and if given the opportunity, we should help them see and strive towards a better path than before.

Remember this my friends:

Resentment leads to more devastation, while kindness is everlasting…!

A BIG HUG!!!

We see how full society has people and quiet voices, closed to freedom because of resentment, the best way to overcome all these things is always to pay with good, even if many do you wrong. Someday we’ll all be rewarded.

in our life we face many situations and even face people who dont like us. We sometimes had an argument with them and even a fight kid of thing. But I feel wishing them well and move on is way better because If we dont do so then we will be stuck at the same place. We need keep our mind free from un-necessary thoughts to grow and become successful in life.

Resentment leads to more devastation, while kindness is eternal ...!
Forgiving the offense does not exempt the other from his guilt, but it frees you from feeling bitterness, hatred and resentment in your heart.
Having a healthy heart is a symbol of having our heart full of love, kindness and mercy; and when they hurt us and we do not forgive our hearts, little by little they fill up with hatred, which is extinguishing the love, of resentment, which is disappearing the kindness and bitterness that little by little is destroying mercy. When you decide to forgive, it is as if you voluntarily decided to be free of all these ties that prevent your heart from being healthy. When the proverbial King Solomon wrote in his book he said: On everything kept save your heart because he determines what will be of your life, was telling you, teaching you that the most important is the condition of your heart: in that you have a healthy heart, clean and full of love. Let nothing hinder your heart. We forgive and let those chains of hatred, resentment and bitterness fall, and live quietly and peacefully. Do not let anyone steal the peace and happiness that you deserve and get rid of the yoke of those people who consider themselves your enemies, but you do not consider yourself an enemy to them, if others want to fall prey to hatred, you dear friend will not You have to stay there in rancor sites. So forgive and you will be freed and nothing will soil your heart, love be kind and always show mercy.

@chbartist I loved your post thank you for sharing with us your wisdom.

Greetings @chbartist

Resentment is a negative energy, which loads our thoughts with bad feelings.

We must forget the evil suffered by the action of other people.

By forgiving we let go of that heavy burden that resentment can be.

Hello,
right, our enemies or haters are definitely poor people, we should pray for them and forgive them.
They don't realize when they do bad things to others, they do bad to theirselves as well.
I strongly believe in Karma.
Let do Karma the dirty job.
Sometimes I pray for Karma won't hit them too strong.
Much Love, have a wonderful day
Tom

Truth be told, anyone that hurts or betrays me intentionally knows what they are doing.
My response to them will be not to hold any grudges against them at all. But I will definitely keep them at arm's length.
Cheers

The timing of this was too good today. Just found out someone i've known for a while was cheated on. I could have said something really bad about their now ex-spouse but I later realized it wouldn't have done any of us any good to say bad things.

All the built-up anger and hatred will devour your soul, all the while your enemy is not even thinking about you anymore after their betrayal.

This is like that old proverb: Holding on to anger is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die.

Thanks for this post!

Resentment can also lead to one being alone and nothing is worth doing just for yourself. We must look past these situations and learn from the experiences to maintain our paths towards our goals.

This is the perfect teaching of humanity but unfortunately some of our heart is sealed. Apart from the exception you @chbartist are right love for all can win over everything.

@chbartist Heya damn true thanks for posting.... According to me we should never be good with our enemies and bad with them as if we will be good with them they will use and if bad then what will be the difference between them and us.... So its better to keep them away from ourselves physically and mentally... What are your thoughts? Thanks.... Keep going =)

Hello @chbartist, how are you? I just find your post so I want to comment it. Forgiving an enemy is indeed one thing that is very difficult to do. Especially if the enemy has made me suffer. After all, he didn't want to apologize and with arrogance still committed crimes everywhere. Sorry, friend ... I can't forgive him. Maybe it's because I'm not an angel. my heart was already sick with his actions. Enjoy your day my friend.

Never waste your time with bad thinking. :)

Nobody's know tommrrow. Your enemy today might later turn out to be your benefactor tomorrow. Even the bible sad love your enemy also.

I've always found it interesting how the Bible parallels with psychology when it comes to people.

¡Excellent!

I really needed this post. I got cheated on recently with my close friend too. All I’ve been thinking about is anger and the worse for them and for karma to just get them back for what they both did. I know the right thing to do is let go. But it being constantly in my head is quite hard. But I do need to forgive and move on.

I prefer to destroy my shitty enemies because I never envy or do something bad to people. If there are enemies who can attack such a man like me, they must be destroyed morally and physically

I completely agree with what you wrote. The bible also says something about that in Matthew 5: 43-44

43 You know that it was said: Love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.

44 But I say to you: Love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you;

Looking at it that way, I feel it is easier to write it than to do it. For me as a human being is really difficult but seeing it from mental and spiritual health is really easier. It's just letting things flow naturally.
When one person gives a gift and the other does not accept it, who gets the gift? who is wearing it, right? It is the same for someone who takes an offense or a bad action towards another person and that person does not take it into account, he has no other option but to keep his gift.

Awesome post. Resentment is a cancer that slowly eats away at your heart. To the point where you forget who you are and you aren't yourself anymore. That hold you'd allow others to have over is no good.
